SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY BENEFITS

If you are unable to work because of a disability and your disability has lasted or is expected to last for at least one year or result in death, you may be eligible to receive social security disability benefits.  The U.S. Social Security Administration determines whether you are eligible to receive benefits.

If the SSA denies your claim for benefits you have the right to appeal the determination. Bertelson Law Office can assist you if your application for benefits has been denied.
